Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
Spralli is a place to practise English with a community. This page explains what data we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details you provide when you sign up: your email address, username, and the English level you choose.
- Content you create in the app: posts, comments, reactions, room activity, and direct messages.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service, such as your sign-in session and language preference.
How we use your information
- To run your account, show your feed, and connect you with other learners.
- To suggest practice content that fits the English level you select.
- To keep the community safe by moderating posts, messages, and images for harmful content.
AI processing
- Some features send your text or images to Google's Gemini API to generate feedback, rephrasing suggestions, and safety checks.
- We send only the content needed for that feature, and we do not use it to identify you outside the app.
Where your data lives
- Your data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, and protected by row-level security so people can only see what they are allowed to.
- We sign you in with Google or email. We never see or store your Google password.
Sharing
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Content you post publicly is visible to other users by design. We share data with service providers (hosting, AI, sign-in) only to operate the app.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile and language at any time in Settings.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
